I Tried a Dozen Moisturizers Before Falling in Love With Olay
When I started looking into products to use in my skincare routine, one of the most commonly recommended was Olay Moisturizing Cream. It comes in different types, including one with retinol, which helps with anti-aging, and another without retinol which just moisturizes well. While I normally don’t love buying products from drugstores, Olay has some really great deals on its store brand, which made it an affordable option. So I decided to try it out! Here’s my experience using Olay Moisturizing Cream and why I decided to stick with it!

Why I needed a new moisturizer
As someone with oily skin, I used to think that moisturizing was an unnecessary step. But as I've gotten older and more aware of the toll dry skin can take on your complexion, I've come to realize that it's important to keep my face hydrated. However, this is easier said than done! After trying out countless moisturizers from high-end brands such as Kiehl's and Clarins, I found myself feeling frustrated because none of them seemed to suit me. They either left my skin greasy or didn't seem to make much difference at all.
The criteria I used to test
Testing was done on the following criteria:
-Texture: I want to feel like my skin is being thoroughly moisturized.
-Longevity: I want something that will last through the day so I don't have to reapply every hour.
-Appearance: Creams are supposed to make you look more youthful and radiant, but what if it's the opposite? -Scent: This might sound shallow, but do I want to smell good all day?
Olay products have passed this test.

The high-end brands I tried
The first cream I tried was from Dermalogica. It's called the Densify Me Cream, and it retails for $128. I found this moisturizer to be too heavy for my liking, and my skin felt very greasy after using it. I also didn't find that it absorbed very well into the skin, which is why I had to wash my hands immediately after applying the product to avoid leaving fingerprint residue behind. Next up was Caudalie's Divine Oil (retails for $68). While this product didn't leave my skin feeling greasy or oily like Dermalogica's did, I found that it dried out my skin more than anything else. At last, I found the amazing moisturizer of Olay.

Why I ultimately chose Olay

Olay Whip travel size for dry skin is included in the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting cream for the face, which has hyaluronic acid and niacinamide and is fragrance-free.
Olay has been around for decades and is one of the most trusted brands for skin care. It's not surprising that they have many different moisturizers to suit all needs, including different retinol formulas. I tested out three different types of their moisturizers: the 24 Night Cream,

the 24 Regenerating Cream, and the Eye Cream. All three are very moisturizing without being too heavy or greasy. The eye cream is perfect to use at night before bed while the regenerating cream is best used as a daytime cream since it contains SPF 15 and is more lightweight than the night cream which can be too heavy if worn during the day.
Olay Retinol 24 Moisturizers

A fragrance-free nighttime facial moisturizer from Olay called Regenerist Retinol 24 + Peptides.
Olay is one of the best beauty companies on the market and has decades of experience. They have created many different types of moisturizers, but I am only going to review the Olay Retinol 24 night cream and some other products that I think you may be interested in.

Olay Regenerist Retinol Moisturizer is a fragrance-free, anti-wrinkle, and retinol 24-hour hour night face moisturizer with niacinamide that comes with an olay whip travel pack for dry skin.
This is my favorite type of moisturizer because it is so lightweight, yet still provides all-day moisture. You can use this as your daily or nighttime moisturizer, depending on what your needs are. This cream also has retinol which helps to reduce wrinkles by fighting off free radicals before they can damage skin cells. It also contains SPF 30 which means it is perfect for everyday wear. A lot of people complain about the smell and stickiness of this cream, but these things don’t bother me. The smell isn’t bad at all and it absorbs into my skin very quickly.

Olay Whip travel size for dry skin is included with Olay Regenerist Vitamin C + peptide 24 brightening face moisturizer lotion, a mild anti-aging treatment for dark spots.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an effective way to fight aging skin or dryness.

Olay Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 has 7 advantages for dry skin, including pore reduction and anti-aging. This thick SPF moisturizer penetrates the surface of your skin to restore moisture. This oil-free solution provides fast-absorbing, non-greasy sun protection. For nourished, healthy-looking skin, we've filled this formula with 7 vitamins and antioxidants, including VitaNiacin Complex II, Vitamin B3, and many more.
